Machine Washing And Decontamination For Australia

In the first quarter of 2012 the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) ordered the re-export of eight (8) consignments of machinery form Australia due to excessive contamination. This is the same number of re-exports ordered in the whole of 2011.

DAFF Biosecurity is seeing an increasing number of imported machines with high levels of Biosecurity Risk Material (BRM). Used machinery can pose a high biosecurity risk if it is contaminated with BRM such as soil, animal or plant material. If machinery arrives in a heavily contaminated state, DAFF Biosecurity can order the machine to be exported from Australia at the Importer’s or Owner’s expense.

To avoid these extra costs get your equipment washed and decontaminated by C&E International Plant. We are conveniently situated in central England with good access to the motorways as well as a fully equipped wash pad.

C&E International Plant are able to facilitate the washing of Mining Equipment, Quarrying Equipment, Earthmoving Equipment and Agricultural Equipment to Checklist Guidelines. This may include the partial dismantling of the machinery.
